Geo Centre

The Johnson Geo Centre is a popular tourist attraction and geological interpretation centre located in St. John’s. This family friendly venue captures excitement at first glance due to its unique architectural design. The building has a steep sloping appearance with exterior glass walls. Interestingly, the Geo Centre was built upon the 500 million year old rocks of Signal Hill. The venue showcases exhibits about the solar system, our planet, our province, our future & space, the great rock wall of Signal Hill, our people and culture, and more. Geo-Vista Park

The Geo Vista park on the grounds of the Geo Centre has a beautiful gravel path walking trail and a captivating appeal for those with a love of nature. The park has stone exhibits that provide insight into the early colonization in our challenging climate.
